Pioneer Day Weekend Spent in Wyoming at Clark's Ranch

In July, we spend an extended weekend Liz Clark's family ranch oustide of Cokeville, WY. It was fun filled weekend with family and friends. Some of us went tubing, the little girls rode a horse, and lots of food. The weather was warm and beautiful. Most of the time was spent relaxing.

Whirlwind Vacation to NJ and NC - Edwards & Saaris

The second part of our vacation was spent with the Edwards and Saaris. We enjoyed family time, meals, games and general conference together. We met the "lady of bling (Cambree)", Cambree's feeding Grandpa popcorn and then her efforts to get it back. We also enjoyed Haylee's dancing, and a very competitive game of kick ball at the Saaris as the pictures evidence.

No trip to NC would be complete without a visit to the farmer's market and Goodberrys for ice cream. There were very active Wii games at the Saari's. Including Julie smacking Haylee in the head with her controller as she tried to beat Mindy at tennis.

One of the highlights of our time in NC was general conference as we watched it our children and their families. Much inspired counsel.

No visit would be complete without several games of "Cities and Knights". This time everyone won except BJ. Just increases the holiday trash talk and competition to come.

Whirlwind Vacation to NJ and NC - Ryan & Jenna

Jan and Mark took ten days to visit our eastern children and grandchildren. It was a fun packed 10 ten days filled with many enjoyable happenings.

In NJ, we spent time visiting New York City with Ryan. We were able to see the Manhattan Temple and Central Park. Eating street vendor hot dogs and banana pudding from one of Ryan and Jenna's favorite bakeries. One night, we went to "Flips" a desert resturant with a zillion favors and all you could get toppings. Several nights of "City and Knights" resulted in everyone winning except Ryan. Needless to say the challenge is set for the holiday season in December. Jan and I also got the grand tour of Ryan's school and Mark got a "The New School" t-shirt and baseball hat. Now its official, Ryan's school will become famous in the west. Jenna seems to have on the recovery from early pregancy sickness as evidenced by her and Ryan eating 3/4 of a 9x12 chicken enchilada casserole on Sunday.
